Free entry, great and helpful staff, filled with beautiful artwork from Roman culture to an exhibit on Arabic writing and kimonos.
Almost all the exhibition on the 1. floor was closed. Interesting Asian temporary exhibition. Free entrance. Only Spanish descriptions so with no knowledge of that language, you can see it just in a quarter.
Enjoyable musuem. If you can't read Spanish you might struggle with what the displays are saying.
Great material. Lacks a clear connective narrative of the city and region and some periods not present...and some themes silent.
This is really a nice little museum. It's hard to believe it's free. It was not busy at all when I went (near the end of the day on a Friday). The displays are done well and there is a nice variety of art and artefacts. Pictures are allowed (without flash). This museum is an easy walk from El Pilar. It's definitely worth a visit if you have the time.
Pretty good . So far its my favourite in Zaragoza. Could do with multiple language plaques. Only Spanish is a lack of judgement towards tourism.
Beautiful building that has an astonishing connection of Roman mosaics, larger than many museums in Italy. Definitely worth taking a look. Also, it's free. Visit the museum earlier in the day because later towards the evening some exhibits tend to be closed. Many of the Roman statues and mosaics that depict animals might be found in villas and pleasure palaces. I really liked the reconstruction of a Roman room in one of the exhibits, because it brought the experience closer to life and contextualized the artifacts on display.
