The cafeteria was pretty much as expected. It's equivilent to a college Cafeteria. It is good for a quick meal between exploring different areas of the Art Museum.

The layout is somewhat strange to navigate. The hostess was sweet, but they pretty much just walk you to table and let you figure out everything on your own. Depending on what food you want, you have to stand at different areas around the central kitchen and hope your table doesn't get taken.

The overall service gets low marks, but the food was actually pretty tasty. The cafeteria was also very clean and well maintained. Expect to spend $15-$20 per person

Surprisingly good food served quick. Fries were some of the best I've had in ages. Egg salad sandwich, burger, and salad was disappeared but family quickly.

We came to the museum later in the day and decided to have a late lunch. (This was Dec 3) It was about 3:30 when we went up to the cafe. Every person was at their station ready to serve and prepare their specialty. I decided on a sandwich. Silly me! This person was more special than the others and could close down so I guess she could get off at 4 when the cafe actually closed. She told me she was closed. As she did at least 2 other people besides myself. So I didn't want pizza or empanadas, I really wanted a sandwich. But I had to eat something. I opted for a cheeseburger, which the gentlemen made for me and it was good. Because of that I gave it a 3 star or it would have been a 2. I still left a tip, didn't want to punish for one person not doing her job. Generally everyone else we came in contact with in the cafe was nice and helpful.

Good varieties of food to grab inside the museum.

We had a croissant that would have been five stars if the cafe had a toaster (or even microwave) to warm it. Cold, it was one star. Seriously? What kind of cafe can't offer a microwave‽ Take a lesson from Panera, and put one out for us!!!!

Had a chicken salad sandwich that was quite good. Be forewarned that the Philly soda tax will make any soda you buy even more expensive than the higher base price for the museum cafe.

When compared to cafe-like eating options at other museums, this one is very good. Pricing is sorta' high, but that is typical. The food quality is very good. Our visit, on a recent Saturday, occurred as quarantine restrictions are easing. Staff here was extremely friendly, and helpful. Setting is comfortable, bright, and clean. Most museums have highly generic, "m'eh"-quality food, and are staffed by unempowered or unenthusiastic concession staff. That is not the case here.

Attention was OK. Coffee was mediocre and also ridiculously over priced. Two hard boiled eggs for $3. You can buy a dozen for less at the supermarket.
