Very nice people, rough course. Could benefit from more maintenance. The golf carts governors make it very challenging. Locked out on the cart paths is a consistent issue. Prepare to push your cart. However the employees are friendly and want you to enjoy yourself. Yes, you will step in goose droppings.
Was there for a charity event and will not be back. The course was in poor shape, not well maintained and the bar (Divots) was laughable. The carts were some of the worse I have seen and they restrict their usage with GPS to protect poorly managed areas which is peculiar. The worse part was the geese infestation. There was feces everywhere and in case you don't know, geese feces is known to carry dangerous bacteria like E.coli and cryptosporidium that become an airborne carcinogen when mowed or walked on causing severe illness. Grossly incompetent.
Paid for 18 holes and they only let us play 16. Never in my life have I had a worker tell us that we had to leave just because it was late at 7. It was still daylight and compared to blue ridge they let u play on the course until 9 at night so if you wanna golf definitely worth it to just go to blue ridge trail golf course.
I had my baby shower there and it was truly amazing. They decorated the main room and it was everything we could hope for. The food is amazing!!! Fabulous menu choices! And did I say affordable? The staff was truly amazing and helpful! Can’t wait for my newborn son’s birthday. Thinking we’ll come back here!
Lucky I got a hot deal on TeeOff and only paid $45. No way worth $70 to play. I have not played here in years and don’t think I will be coming back. It’s ashame. The amount of goose poop all over the course especially on the greens is awful. Feather everywhere also making it difficult to see ball. The course seems to lack a ton of maintenance. The layout of the course is decent just wish they fix it up.
Really stunning course for south jersey. Greens were in really good condition and plenty of holes for a good challenge. The only downside would be the geese droppings over a couple of holes, but that’s inevitable. I definitely recommend this course if you live in the Philly area too since this one of the best longest par 73 courses within the general area that’s for a good valued price.
Yesterday we played Wedgewood for the first and last time. Yes it was a beautiful Sunday and crowded which is pretty much the norm at all courses but 5 1/2 hours for 18 holes is a bit long. We were on the green for the second hole when we were approached by the started who asked if we could let the fore some behind us pass as they were “really fast” golfers. Well they were not fast. We were right behind them and waiting on them most holes. Talk about being insulted…Guess they know someone there… oh and we picked up trash along the way too…
"You're killing me Smalls!"...will someone please hit the lottery and buy this course. Put the money into it that the course deserves! Imagine "Wedgy" with healthy grass on the tee boxes and fairways. But its the second week in April and the tee boxes are nasty. The fairways are barely green and the bunkers are filled with dirt or sand with pebbles mixed in. Such a shame. This is one if the best course layouts in all of Southern NJ!!! Nice and long from the tips at 7,100 yards. Water holes #3 and #13 are awesome. Reachable-ish par 5s, medium length par 3s. The greens always roll well. But the good is always in the form of "potential"..."Wedgy could be great but..." ; "The greens roll true but..." ; "Its a great layout but..." The consistent poor conditions at Wedgwood keep it from taking its place a one of the best courses in the area.
Decent course - $60 for a Friday afternoon rate. Not too long and most holes are nice and straight, just not well maintained. Could just be it’s late in the season in September as I write this. But course has great potential. Friendly service and bar in the clubhouse. Not far drive from philly either.
