I ordered the tamarind shrimp lunch entree for $13 and received six small shrimp with some pieces of iceberg lettuce. No broccoli, no rice. Tasted fine but did not match the description on the site and the value was non-existent.
Really nice Thai place: the decor here is really above average. Considering their lunch prices, makes for a good local option. I ordered the ginger sauce with chicken. Portion was a bit small though. I will probably be back to try a curry dish.
Amazing!!! Love the tom yum soup and shrimp fried rice. Been going here for over 8 years. They just moved to a bigger location a few doors down. Great service, good price, great food.
Very chic place, looks like a hotel. I was worried that the food might not be very authentic at first, but it turned out to be better than my expectations. The Taiwanese luorou was very tasty and the Thai fried rice tasted exactly like the comfort food I wanted. The Thai milk tea was delicious, as was the lemonade. The waitresses were nice and attentive, and the food arrived almost immediately, in big portions. Very worth the money!
Pad thai was great, I really enjoyed it. We ordered the corn salad, which did not look similar to the picture on the menu at all. It had a very distinct and sharp smell that we did not expect on a salad -Turns out it has fish sauce, which is not specified on the menu. We could not finish it, so I’d suggest staying away from that.
Also, bathroom soap is mixed with water. A LOT of water that it’s not consistent. I understand the need to lower the cost, but customers also need to clean their hands.

Having been here before I visited with a work colleague, food was brilliant as always. The new restaurant is very nice.
But as we left, we were chased out the restaurant by one of the waitresses saying we didn’t tip…. But we had ticked the receipt to give the required tip. This was embarrassing & no apology. Left a bitter taste in our mouths and might not come back. It’s a shame.

Beautiful interior, great food, reasonable prices, and friendly, efficient service. Noodle dishes were good. Curry was marked spicy on menu, but lacked fire. Thai ice tea was really good with a strong tea flavor, not an instant mix. This block of 53rd st between 2nd and 3rd has some really good casual restaurants and a cool vibe.
