Forgot something, don't worry, the Trading Post will have it. Family owned and operated. Neat place. Has meat delivered daily!
We forgot a few key items on our recent trip to Cape San Blas but the Trading Post helped save the day. Thanks to their well-stocked shelves of just about anything you could need to help accentuate a beach vacation including fresh fruits, vegetables and proteins as well as hot pizza and cold beverages, we were well prepared for our stay at the Cape. Plus it's super convenient and there's lots of parking. A great all-around resource for the community.
Provided a nice selection of what I would call ‘necessities’ while having a beach vacation. As one of the few stores in the area, the prices are higher than what you would normally pay if more businesses were on the strip. In the end, the Post came thru for us allowing us to get what we needed locally during our week stay and enjoy even more time at the beach!!
We never miss several stops to the Cape Trading Post on our visits to Joe. The owners are always friendly and welcoming year after year. They offer a nice selection of groceries, souvenirs and some of the very best hot fresh made to order pizza around! Don’t skip the ice cream and donut stand outside, they never disappoint as well!
Space is a little tight, but very convenient. Food, souvenirs, t-shirts, etc. A little bit of anything you might need on the peninsula. Good location relative to our stay. Friendly staff. Parking can be a little tight around donut or ice cream times.
This was the first place we stopped at when we arrived at the Cape for our vacation and it set the mood for the rest of our stay. Everyone is super friendly! We enjoyed hanging out while the kids at ice cream, some of us enjoyed the wine slushies while others had an adult beverage. They have fresh made breakfast sandwiches in the morning, souvenirs and some of the best gas prices we have seen during our whole road trip. You have to stop by and soak in the cape atmosphere! You won't regret it!
Love this place and the folks running it are nice as they can be! Little bit of everything in this store if you can't find it just ask and they will help you. 5 stars only or I will find you and bury you in the sand!
