There is no connection between the L line to the 1, 2, or 3 lines, uptown or downtown. You have to exit the station and walk from the L (6th Ave) to the 1, 2 & 3 station (7th Ave) and vice versa depending on where you’re coming from.

IT IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION THAT'S WHY I GIVE IT A 3 STARS

This is an awful station, very dark, dingy, dirty and in need of some TLC. A horrible place!

I thought the London Underground was bad but this is 10x worse!

Could use some cleaning and personnel removal. It's not the cleanest yet it's functional. The interactions of hustle and bustle is the only distraction, and where you find comedic images that will definitely make you laugh 😂

It was a nice place to walk my old area back in the 90's when I lived on 20th St. The place changed a lot new stores but just like NYC always changing you can't show someone what it use to look like 20 years ago

The station is well lit and presents the feeling of a safe environment. It's also a busy transportation hub.

Unlike many stations on the 1/2/3 line, you can access both uptown and downtown trains from any entrance but despite being an express stop (and super busy), there is no elevator access. It is not wheelchair accessible so you'll have to plan your commute around that.

The station does offer electronic signage letting you know about arriving trains and you can walk entirely underground for an avenue to 6th Avenue to access the F/M/L trains.

This station is open 24 hours. There are MTA vending machines and an attendant booth inside. Unfortunately, there's no access to elevators or the L train.
