Capitol Heights Police Department

One star only because I cannot give zero stars. A Capitol Heights police officer approached me in my vehicle because he said that I was sitting in a big parking lot, alone with tints on my windows. Actually, I had just ordered a pizza and decided to eat a slice before returning to work. After being asked to roll down my window in the freezing cold, so he could verify that I had a pizza...I began to shiver and the officer asked why I was shaking and if I had something concealed between my legs. I asked why am I being harassed and he said that he could detain me and that I should be happy that he is a police officer that is actually doing his job. Meanwhile, somewhere else in Capitol Heights, I'm sure there were real crimes occurring during this time that I was being harassed...so actually he was not doing his job. Capitol Heights Police Department needs to do better. A poorly trained, unprofessional officer is actually a danger to the community, not an asset.

Very resourceful. I had business to take care of and was assisted promptly and professionally.

How the hell can a precinct be closed??????
