Went to renew bridge electronic tag, nobody is actually on a desk to meet the public. Recommended to phone!

The Royal Albert Bridge the historic train Bridge constructed by the famous Isambard Kingdom Brunel for the crossing of trains into Cornwall from Plymouth.

Beautiful bridge built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and standing proudly next to the Tamar Bridge. Fantastic. Views when to take a train trip between Devon and Cornwall over it.
Stephen Johnson
An admirable feat of engineering. Part of the legacy of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The views from the train over the river Tamar are worth seeing.

Brunel's masterpiece bridging the Tamar between Devon and Cornwall, completed after his death, one of my favourite single line bridge in the country, alight at Saltash Station for some amazing views or walk down to the Riverside for another angle from under the structure.
Arthur Ratcliffe
Steeped in history this bridge is one of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's great achievements, built in the 1850s and opened in 1859. The bridge spans the beautiful river Tamar that divides Devon and Cornwall.

This is a nice place to visit on a nice day. There is a small play area with swings, sand and a children's rotating digger. All within an enclosed and secure area. There is a pub where refreshing drinks and meals can be purchased. Plus a small outside cafe to sit in the sun/fresh air. The views of the Tamar are a sight to behold. Also there is a small park area, which has a commemorative plaque for the men and vessels that were kept in the 'Trot' for the D Day landings. Parking is a bit awkward as space is at a premium. Best park on the road that leads down to Saltash passage. A short drive away is the Tamar Bridge built by Izzembard Kingdom that crosses into Cornwall and more outstanding sights and places to visit. The bridge fee is only £1.50p, and you only pay that coming back across the bridge from Cornwall to Devon via the toll booths.
