Nice location, dog friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere and music. Very spacious. Even though I made reservations it took a long time to get seated. Service was sparse and the drink items we wanted we’re unavailable. They had a few items that could be modified for gluten/dairy allergies, but not enough to entice me to return. For a weekend night it was empty. Maybe because we went two hours before they closed.

Great atmosphere and one of the best dining places around the classic NYC piers. Pier 26 offers stunning sunset and a very pleasant urban refuge. City Vineyards is right by Pier 26 and works as a useful spot for gatherings. You can find tables for small groups either inside or outside.. or best.. at the roof. You can also host larger gatherings.. I was there with a group of 25 people without having to make any special booking. You can make two/three separate reservations if needed but the place usually has enough space for walk in experiences as well.

They also offer gift cards if you want to host something for your teams/organizations/reunions etc.

The atmosphere is fanatic outdoor dining, the view during my experience was amazing. The place is comfortable and beautiful decorations.
But the service actually was regular, the server was kind of mad all the time, something that makes me feel uncomfortable.

I think this place wins because of the views. love the truffle fries i tried and since I’m Mediterranean, was pleased with how good the hummus and pita were! Our waiter was superb too. I didn’t like drinking wine from plastic cups though but everything else makes up for it.

Perfect to catch sunsets and views of the city. We liked everything we ordered and would go back again for the same for sure. Forgot the guys name who sorted out drinks and food but 👏👏👍👍 to him on the suggestions. Rooftop is first come first serve and super chill.

A server was extremely rude to us and ruined our time here which was a shame since the ambiance was really nice because it was by the water and in my opinion, drinks and food weren’t too expensive. We were told by the hostess that we could sit anywhere in the outside area in the front or back patio and order drinks and food at the bar which we did. We sat in the back patio facing the water and went to order an appetizer, salad and drinks.

However, when we came back, a server told us we couldn’t sit at our table because it was “full service”. We told him we were fine with it being full service and asked if we could still sit there. He responded that we had already ordered so no, we could either sit at the bar or move to the side patio. We had tipped 18% at the bar already and were very willing to order more food and drinks but he seemed extremely adamant that we couldn’t sit there which was confusing because there were 4 more empty tables to our right and groups to our left getting “full service”. I’m not sure what difference it makes since we still got water, silverware and napkins and our food delivered to us when we moved tables and the servers cleared our table for us.

Overall, this experience left a very sour taste in our mouth so we finished our food and drinks as fast as possible and went to a different bar where we treated like normal customers.

I really wanted to like this place as the ambiance is really lovely, however, the food was just below average for Manhattan prices !

Firstly, just know if you want to site outside its self-service. You have to order your own food and drinks from the bar. We opted out of this and sat under the patio. Which was not what we had in mind as we wanted to enjoy the first warm sunny day of spring.

FOOD: To start the menu is very basic. Cheese sharing platter is hands down the WORST cheese platter I have ever had. I make a better cheese platter with food from publix. The bread that came with it was a stale raisin bread (TERRIBLE). <<If someone from the restaurant reads this, please just use regular crackers, bc anything will beat that nasty stale bread>> The brie tasted like it was spoiled, it was inedible, I was worried it would give me food poisoning. The only edible things on the platter were some of the grapes and the toasted nuts. I wish this was it but there more bad news, I got the shrimp avo toast, which was served on a stale baguette. Not sure why all their bread is stale. My friend had the french toast which was actually the best thing we had. Though nothing to write home about or to go back for.

DRINKS: The only serve wine from their vineyard, so the selection is extremely limited. I had a Chardonnay which was good enough, nothing special. My friend ordered a home-made bitters soda which was terrible. We had to send it back, to which the waitress said that most people don't like that drink ! Like WHAT I have never in my life heard a waitress say that about something on the menu. Like please help yourselves and remove things from the menu your staff know people don't like !

SERVICE: All the staff were super friendly and attentive, the drink was taken back and a new one suggested and served, so that was nice. However, I thought they should have offered to remove the cheese platter from the bill as we simply did not eat it.

All in all its a total miss for me, save your money yall !

And as usual,

Happy experiences to all !

(PS I forgot to mention that we made a reservation and when we got there, there was no record of our reservation, even though we had confirmation on our phone. very odd)

A great place for large get togethers, outdoor meetups, excellent service, fantastic views of FiDi and good food/drink options. We tried the Brussel sprouts, Kung Pao Cauliflower, Margherita Pizza, and the Egg White Frittata, and it was great. Worth a visit!
