Great place for photos, fishing sunbathing and hiking.
Pretty good food and service but the view is the real draw. Love sitting outside on a warm summer day. If you go in the evening try to snag a table with a fire pit.
Great for outdoor nature walks and people who love the environment and whats left of this military base
This is one of the most peaceful and historic spots in NJ. The bike trail is awesome.
Sandy hook is a beautiful place and interesting piece of history. I drive out there from pa to fish there. I love it there.

Close, yet far away. A short drive from NYC and north Jersey, a pleasant spot to hike, unfold a camp chair and read the afternoon away.
Check out the roaring surf on one side and enjoy the placid bay on the other side. And when hunger makes you think of lunch or dinner, just across the bridge to the mainland there are some great sea food restaurants.

I think they use Velveeta cheese in their mac and cheese 😞, the steamed clams were great. Wings were a bit under cooked drinks weren't that strong. All in all it was just an okay experience the best thing about it is the venue, the scenery and set up next to the water. Staff is friendly enough.
