Small library. It's connected to the Nassau County system, so books can be ordered from any Nassau library, if available. Librarian will usually be willing to try to get books from outside the system, if available from another U.S. library. Not a big selection immediately on hand. Many programs for children and adults, including films, lectures, courses and children's reading program with therapy dog.
The staff was very helpful, patient and courteous. I'm not tec savvy so I'm grateful for their patience with me every time!
Outstanding service from all staff. They're knowledgeable, kind and competent. The staff worked together as a team and helped me find the answers that I sought. I had a cramp in my knee so I took the elevator which works perfectly. Quiet & clean environment. I'm thankful for this library. It's a real blessing.
My son always come in and faxes information for me. They are always pleasant with him. Thank you for being kind.
Absolutely love this place! So many books!! as well as very knowledgeable staff, especially Ereina! She helped me out with everything I needed since I didn’t know a lot about specific books for school. She also recommended some amazing books that I’m almost done with!!! (She has great taste!!!!!). Adding on to her great taste, she is the sweetest person I’ve ever encountered. Met no other like her which is why I’m choosing to write a review about her. Truly an amazing individual that will exceed your expectations!
Staff can sometimes be rude and obnoxious, no one is never nice in there, how can people be so rude in a library
I asked about a computer, & was told yes, & could print, & could take an elevator upstairs. Narrow entrance to parking lot, to see there was steps. I went to leave, found spot in front, & got excited. Card invalid! Can't use a Queens library card in Nassau. Nice man went to give me a day pass, & said 15 cents a page to print. Queens is 20 pages free, & I need at least 20 more for a judge on Fri. Drove there for nothing! Nice atmosphere though. Queens was already closed. Wasted my time avail tonight.
A lot of outlets and room to study upstairs. I love to study here. Parking gets full quick
