Wirklich toll, vorallem für Kinder.
Wir waren mit unseren 4,5 Jahre alten Sohn vor Ort und hatten ganz tolle Stunden. Das Highlight war natürlich das Kindermuseum (Kinderbereich). In diesem durfte alles angefasst und bespielt werden. Uns erwarteten ua. Ritter, Wikinger, eine Mittelalterküche und ein Klassenzimmer aus Omas Zeiten. Selbst wir Erwachsenen hatten Spaß.
Der Rest vom Museum ist ebenfalls sehr toll gemacht, für Kinder teilweise aber weniger interessant.
Personen unter 18 Jahren zahlen keinen Eintritt, Erwachsene 130 DKK.

Such an interesting museum! Definitely recommend. The Viking area is definitely a must see. They had a lot of Christmas stuff, as it is very important for Danish culture. Everything was translated to English and you can’t get lost. Easy to walk around and art is very well distributed within the museum. Great for kids as well, as I saw loads of them around.
What a beautiful space with some really interesting exhibitions. The normal national history that you'd expect but so many extra surprises like the money and Christmas exhibitions. Some of the Viking and iron age stuff is absolutely breathtaking and the way it's explained is just wonderful. Highly recommended.
Great spot on a trip to Copenhagen. There’s some interactive activities for the kids and plenty of relaxing options for the adults. The museum is huge and covers every aspect of history from beginning of man and civilization to the modern day economic life in Denmark.
