Attended a workshop there. Very professional and informative.
Refused two trash bags of books for free. Lady behind the desk, who was a supervisor was very disrespectful and accused me of lying about them accepting donations in the past, will not use this library ever again if I ever needed to. “We’ve never accepted donations.” “Oh yea where did you put them” are you kidding me, plus when I messaged online they said they did accept donations but when the lady I spoke to found out she messaged and said they didn’t. What an absolute joke what this place has become.
Sunday waiting out side alot people..online says open at 1 pm on sunday..almost 1:20 pm and doors are closed!!! What a service!! Absolutely not good..
Lots of options for remaining entertained! From books to movies, they've got plenty. Add the wide variety of interactive programs for all ages and you've got yourself a wonderful community!
I love my library and it's staff. While it might not be the largest or museum like library on long island it has repeatedly reinvented itself to meet the needs of the community. I enjoy going there to study or do research.
Connetquot Library is the best. So many things they have going on everyday. They have fitness classes they have all sorts of hobby classes they have tech classes and everybody who works there is just so nice. Best library on Long Island.
This library is fantastic! The staff is friendly and helpful. The late fees are the lowest I've ever seen. The services and programs are phenomenal. Meeting rooms open to the public. Great remodeling and the teen section will be amazing when it's finished! The VR section is a hit with the kids!
