I came to Washington DC and this was the first place I came, I found it impressive and how big the statue of Lincoln is. You must come here if you also come to visit DC
Craig Thomas
It is one of those works of art, that make you feel the history behind the piece. The energy is palpable. You can feel the presence from every angle. I must admit, I heard rumors but was shocked to find out that they were true. This is a must see! It is practically what D.C. is all about.
Yulianto Maliang
One of the most famous memorial hall with Abraham Lincoln Statue inside majestic building.
Dragan Šukunda
The statue takes center stage in front of the DC Court of Appeals, one of the oldest buildings in Washington DC.

Exactly as we see in the photos and video, but with the emotion!
The whole place is huge, with many National Parks and interesting places to visit nearby.
A read on the history of Thomas Jefferson and about the monument upgrades the visit.

Probably the best monument in DC considering the Korean War monument is right next door as well. The Lincoln statue itself is just.... spectacular. The detail.is amazing. It's open all night and generally well crowded into the late hrs of the evening and safe.. strength in numbers. Be sure to sit on the steps and stare off at the reflection pool and Washington monument in the distance which is especially cool at night when everything is lit. Also take a walk underneath to read about the history behind the statue and how it was constructed.

After I'd suggest walking the shirt distance to the Korean War memorial and WWII memorial since they're both within minutes on foot.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL. STOP UPLOADING YOUR PICTURES AND COMMENTS OF THAT IMPORTANT AND BEAUTIFUL PLACE HERE.

This is the standing life-size statue of Abraham Lincoln in front of "District of Columbia Court of Appeals". It is also a very impressive representation of of this important historical figure and I can recommend to go see it. However, if you are short in time visiting Washington then you may want to search the map for Lincoln Memorial which is at the far western end of the National Mall - an approx 2 mile walk from this statue.
