Great little NYC diner! Popped over from the park, very friendly host/waiter. Food was good and prices for the city weren't terrible. Will be back

Being a big fella, couldn’t squeeze into the tiny booths they have. And barely able to balance on a stool!!.. I swear this place was designed for smaller folk!!
The pastrami sandwich I ordered, was very tasty, but again with the very small portions!!.. maybe three or four thin slices of meat. The mini coleslaw could have done with a tad of mayonnaise.
Though the bread was very fresh.
I noticed that the owner/management doesn’t acknowledge the reviews?
I wonder why!??

New York institutions like this are the reasons I keep on living. It’s good service, cash only, freshly squeezed orange juice, piping hot coffee (keep it coming), and delicious breakfast. What more could you ask for?

Stopped by this very traditional deli when I was around doing errands. The place is a little stuffy and old, but that is also what gives it its charm. The turkey sandwich is definitely great.
Okay place to grab a lunch near the Central Park. Strawberry milk shake had that unnatural pink hue to it, so you can be sure no strawberries were hurt in process of making it.
We had a tasty brunch.
Still the rate will not be higher than three because:
- No tables for more than two people, so our party of five had sit by the counter which makes it harder to have a conversation.
- Cash only.
- Quite pricy.

AMAAAAZING!!! i loved how quickly their service was. I took longer to order than what the food actually took. Typical cafe. Space is limited at rush hour time for breakfast. Very friendly staff. And the cook was very efficient with how busy the restaurant really was. I will come back if I'm ever in NY.
