Landings Seafood House

Beautiful location in Portugal Cove only a few minutes drive from St. John's airport. I got very fast service mid-afternoon, 2pc fish and chips with Iceberg beer. Right up there with best fish and chips I've had anywhere in Canada. Will be back if business brings me back to the Rock.

The food was AMAZING!! I am Celiac and it was such a relief to find this little gem. I cannot wait to go back to Newfoundland! Best GF onion rings EVER!!

Best fish and chips around. This time the fries had some duds but overall ok. The quantity is great so no biggie. As much tartar sauce as you want. The fish is the best, crispy and fluffy on the inside

I stopped here while I was hiking the east coast trail. Beautiful location easy seating near Ocean and ferry terminal.

Local beer available on the tap. And sea food is special. I tried different fish dishes here that were not full fish and chips. That was worth the money and the potion was larger. And yummy same as fish and chips.

Pretty good food most of the time. Lovely dining in area. Kind of expensive for fishn chips 50 or 60 for 2 people with 1 can of soda each is a bit much. I know its expenses but for a piece of fish and a few fries which are not that costly it seems like a little much.....but then again with that said its 50 or 60 at Swiss chalet. I would just like it if they had some more specials so that we could get out without spending $60 for a pretty standard Newfoundland food because it really does affect the frequency of how often myself and my friends go there. I guess its not something you should eat too often but that paired with the price we just don't bother. It is soups there sometimes which are a change.

What a find! As others have mentioned, they can do most things gluten-free, plus live music and live comedy some nights. The staff are awesome, the locals like it, which is a huge plus, and watching the ferry come and go to Bell Island is great. Oh yes, the fish and chips ain’t too bad either!
