Great area for a hike and/or to take your dog for a walk. It's not a huge park but there are a few trails that run through the park. You end up at the lake in a bay with a nice view. In the summer probably a good area to go for a dip in the lake as it seems shallow for quite a distance.

Perfect for walking and relaxing during hot days because of the tree cover. But also during the fall because of also the tree colour!

I absolutely adore this walking trail, so many paths, you can make it to a adorable little beach at the lake, there's a Pavillion there as well by the water nice for get togethers:) 10/10 reccomend
It is a beautiful trail with full of lush green trees and forest area. You can reach the Gables Park via this trail and can see the huge mesmerising view of Barrie city across the Simcoe Lake. The trail is maintained well and one enjoy walking or cycling on the same. Nice to visit.
