Historic and picturesque area strongly offset by dense crowds and an insane amount of traffic trying to navigate a maze of too-narrow one-way roads through a maze of pedestrians.
Georges Younes
The Arc de Triomphe in Montpellier was built at the end of the seventeenth century during the reign of Louis XIV. It celebrates his victories. The Arc is at the end of rue Foch and is at once a gate to the city and part of the Promenade du Peyrou.
Mike Johnson
A beautiful arch and worth visiting if you like the architecture. There is also a park opposite where you can view the sunset which is beautiful.
Magdalena Blanco
An architectural site to view as you pass as there is not anything to view inside.
Kathleen Schutter
Lovely views from botanical Park across the street
Edin Hardaus
A beautiful night walk in Montpellier with many interesting contents.
Rodrigo Pineda

The Arc the triomphe is a beautiful sight, that is definitely worth visiting. The entrance is about 10€ but free for EU citizens 18-25. You have a stunning view over Paris and can even see the Eifel Tower sparkle at 10pm. The sunset and the atmosphere in the evening is great to watch.
