They have a very large display of fish and other sea life. We got to watch a dolphin show. I could have easily spent the entire day gawking at the beautiful fish. Everyone there was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Offering a variety of unusual and colorful ocean species, this aquarium will have guests entertained and engaged for hours. Food options are available from baked goods to a buttery popcorn snack.
Parking can be difficult, particularly when there are special events in neighboring Soldier Field.

Loved the animals and the beluga show. Don't forget to step outside and enjoy the view.

Interesting place in Chicago to visit. It's not the best aquarium but still has things to do. The good thing is there are free days for illinois residents.

Always fun to visit the Shedd Aquarium. The Calm Waters experience was worth the early start and extra cost to take my son with special needs to see the exhibits. Great staff, still reasonably priced. I do wish they'd give the giant pacific octopus a slightly larger enclosure though.

From the entrance to the exit...Shedd Aquarium just made Me the best DAD ever!!! Well, at least that's what the Shorties think...and that's worth 1,000,000 stars in My book!!!

When you think it's done, you discover another floor or exhibit. Try to time with dolphin shows.

Huge place! Plan on spending at least half the day (recommend a full day plan) avoid weekends

Honestly I remembered this being bigger and more maintained as a kid. Honestly felt like a giant gift shop with way to many people. Some of the enclosures/tanks where neat and it was nice nostalgia to go back.

This place is quite amazing if you think about how many people it takes to run this aquatic center. They were very welcoming about my service dog. And I spent a good four hours enjoying all of the wildlife they have to offer.
