A small airport. But smells are very tasty and cheap. At leat better than VN🥹🥹
Customs are very efficient, even with a long lineups, at least it keeps moving.
I would say, less than 30mins
The Tourism Taiwan's activity is one of the best attraction I have ever seen. Luck draw, but make sure you register at least a day before the arrival.

Taipei Taoyuan Airport is my transit. So far, I only ultised the Star Alliance Gold lounge, EVA AIR. The staff standing at the front counter to welcome guests. It gives me a very warm welcome, and I am feeling at home. It serves a lot of variety of food and beverages. My personal rating is 8 plus.
Like everything else in Taipei, international terminal 2 at TPE is clean, has a modern feel, and there's great signage for an English only speaker like myself. Ample food choices and designer boutiques galore.
Excellent well managed smooth flowing airport that takes the stress out of travel. Terminals have excellent duty free and lounge facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Beautiful airport. Best part is that they provide free showers and soap and shampoo. We just bought a quick dry towel at one of the stores so we could freshen up before our long flight back home.
The airport is very modern:
- easy access via express train from Taipei Main (150 NT)
- reasonable prices for food and beverage with confortable seatings
- e-gate for express immigration (less than 2 minutes waiting time)
- security check is very fast as well

One of the newer terminal of the Taouyuan airport of Taiwan.
Easy access by freeway or metro. Good size parking lot but there always a traffic jam in the loading zone no matter is departures or arrivals!
Good size of duty free shop with good price and selections!
On the arrival side of the things. Luggage’s always delivered in reasonable time!
All the signage also very clear and helpful!
