This was my second time trying Em, and it was waaayyy better than my prior experience. Food was phenomenal. Service was amazing.
House Brioche - 5/5
Tuna Tiradito - 5/5
Wagyu Steak - 4/5
Chocolate Cake w/ Ice Cream - 5/5
From start to finish, incredible. The house bread is a must order. Buttery, flaky, freshness. The cultured butter was sooo flavorful. The tuna was perfect. Also, buttery, melt in your mouth deliciousness. Steak was cooked very well. The dessert, phenomenal. Sooo good. But not too decadent. Definitely a hidden gem. Service was fantastic. Super friendly and attentive. Very relaxed vibes.

Hands down, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Excellent food and service. A must visit while in Mexico City.
Inconsistent with some real gems!
I’ve been 2x. Once tasting menu, once a la carte. Drinks consistently good.
Tasting Menu:
I don’t recommend. Price is extremely high. Menu constantly changes, but the best things we had were scallop tostada and the mini corn. BEWARE the palate cleanser (tasted like a crispy hairy hoja Santa leaf with toothpaste inside) was one of THE WORST things I’ve ever eaten in my life (and they tell you to eat it in 1 bite so I was doomed). The flavor was so overpowering that it ruined the taste of the 3 desserts that followed.
A La Carte (a visit a few weeks later)
-ordered the tostada again because it was incredible first time, but this time it was served with no caviar (caviar makes it).
-Caesar salad: terrible
-Langostinos: average
My advice:
Go for cocktails and order a la carte: scallop tostada (have them give you the one with caviar), the corn with butter yuzu, and one other plate standing out to you. That will be worth it.
NYC prices, FYI.

Everything about this place is perfect. Lucho is an amazing chef that has perfected the art of layering flavors. The ambience is great. We enjoyed the kitchen-side experience and it's all I've thought about for weeks! Spend the money. Make the memory. He will not disappoint.
unforgettable meal. Everything was delicious but the baby corn, dashi, tuna tostada and the clams were unparalleled. Service was thoughtful and unpretentious. We never felt rushed. Alcohol was a little over-priced. Would definitely return.
Amazing food, great atmosphere. It’s a must if you’re in town. Don’t forget to get a post dinner drink at the bar upstairs.
The food was divine! Japanese-Mexican fusion. The best dish was corn with butter and yuzu! Just delicious. Elegant atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining and impecable service. Many places to eat in Roma Norte this one should be on the list.
Absolutely loved this meal. The restaurant is clean and chic. The service is warm and friendly. The menu changes nightly but I cannot imagine a bad bite here. We loved absolutely everything. The drinks were delicious too. Such and elevated experience. Cannot more highly recommend!
