I went for the coffee shop, it wad mediocre at best. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was ok. But why on earth I should pay for the museum ticket if I just want to use their coffee shop, which is outside of the main building?!?!?!?
Best place ever! Food, garden, atmosphere, mood, food.... I enjoyed every moment every time I visited. Also nice souvenir stores. Just lovely place- this is for the cafe in there.
About museum itself- also enjoyed it, small cute place. The house is amazing, with those many beautiful details on it....amazing

In northern Tehran, this mansion, which dates back to the 19th century, has been turned into a museum of time, where a valuable collection of clocks and watches are kept. These pieces are unique, as they belonged to the royalty and the dignitaries of the country throughout the different historical periods. The architecture of the building will definitely take your breath away, and it is truly admirable. The Chambers inside are dedicated for one particular aspect related to time.
Having said above, there are certain things to consider. The staff have a tendency of hawkingly follow the visitor to every single room. This is not very professional. Also, there was a room where a small collection of fossils were kept. I could not relate the fossils to the idea of time at all.

You will enjoy walking here. And the best part is the museum. When you walk there, it is like walking through the time. Old clocks and watches. And beautiful design of the building are fascinating.
It is beautiful place to see. Having a Café inside, make it better to spend some times inside. Mirrors used in the structure – based on Persian construction style, make it shiny and glittery, specifically during a sunny day, takes more attentions. The clocks, presented in the 2-stories museum, are mostly French technologies, which are bought by Pahlavi and Qajar dynasties. It seems colorful watches are similar to designs used in the Élysée Palace. They have sings which present Greek, Persian and French myths.
If you are interested in Arts, it is fine, good place to visit. However, if you are going through it with historical approach, the problem with that is, there is no history for what you see. Clearly they are collected by Government from different palaces to present in a single place, but you won’t know who had it, since when, and nothing else. While you are walking in the garden, there are some super old-fashioned clocks, invented by the scientists during eras, working with light, water, oil and so on.
It has nice staff to request the explanations by the way.

There is a lot of ancient beautiful clocks and watches in this museum.
The building is a wonderful masterpiece.
Persian architecture is barely obvious in this beautiful place.
If you are staying in Tehran for some couple of days you must give this place a patient visit.
To ensure that they're open the day you want to visit, call them before.
You can park your vehicle in the shopping malls around it.

A very beautiful building; the structure itself is worth visiting as much as the museum; but you'll enjoy the old watches and clocks if you're into their history. There's also a cafe, where you can find average quality food and drinks. If you are planning to visit the museum, you'll need to be there by 5:00 p.m.
