The venue its self is well situated. Service was great. The food tasted really good. The cocktails were tasty. Our only issue was the massive cockroach that came to visit. Luckily tho, we were about to leave at the time

Had afternoon drinks at rock pool and it was amazing. Our waiter Oliver was incredible, he was so attentive, friendly and helpful. He really made our night. I would highly recommend it!

The service was amazing our server was Oliver. The food came out fast and fresh. The atmosphere is nice because there was music and the sea next to us.The food is always good especially the Fish and Chips.

Update: Food poisoning!

Initial drinks came quickly, and the setting was lovely. It's more of a local hangout than for the tourists, which is nice. The soccer game was on inside, and the setting sun over the beach was a great backdrop.
Sadly service was slow - waited just over an hour for the appetizer, but at least when it came it came with the rest of the food and everything was tasty. The second cocktail must have been made by someone else, as it was the same order (their signature spritz) but the second one tasted off somehow, and not at all like the first one. I'd still go back, but make sure I had the time.

Update: got horrible food poisoning which started about 8 hours after we ate, and led to a very bad day spent on the toilet with a bucket to deal with the aftermath coming from both ends. The only food which I didn't share with my partner was the salad, so I'd definitely stay away from anything not cooked to a safe temperature.

Best homemade ice tea I've ever had, and amazing breakfast! Great place to sit and look at the view (in my case, the Cape Town Marathon😄).

What a great vibe! Great spot for summer. We really enjoyed our food, and they have a large variety of yummy cocktails. I did, however, struggle to justify paying R30 for a bottle of tap water, which tasted horrible.

Nice friendly place. The food was good and service was great.

UPDATE: Went back for lunch. Pizza was amazing and the coffee was perfect. Staff were attentive and welcoming. Will be going back again.

UPDATE 2: This year, 2023, the services were very poor. Took ages for drinks to arrive, but that was after a long wait to say they could not do a cocktail. Food was okay but not amazing this time. Very disappointed.

Breakfast was really good, with reasonable prices and generous portions. We had a lovely waitress serve us. The only instance where we felt we might have waited too long was when we had to pay. This is a lovely spot on the beach road of Sea Point, with views of the promenade. If you're lucky, you'll be able to watch the paragliders land across the street. Really chilled atmosphere with a 80s / 90s playlist.
