DACOR Bacon House

A friend had a private wedding event here and it was a great spot. Staff was very accommodating and the outdoor space was wonderful!

As wedding professionals, we can't say enough good things about DACOR Bacon House as a venue! If you're a fan of local and national history, then the location has tons of it. Want to get married outside in the middle of DC, DACOR Bacon House has a lovely patio space that is perfect for outdoor ceremonies -- you get the fresh air and good vibes of being outside, and the walls and trees give you some seclusion and protection from the sun. And Meg and the rest of the team are amongst the nicest people we've ever had the pleasure to work with!

This is a beautiful historic mansion! You can get lost in time looking at all the beautiful art around the home!

Was there for a private event. A memorial, so I wasn't taking pictures. We'd originally thought it was a private house. We parked around the corner and saw a very cool driveway with center steps. I had to capture that. Once inside, I looked out and realized the driveway went to this property. Elegant, old school place, renovated with history in mind.

This is a beautiful historic mansion! You can get lost in time looking at all the beautiful art around the home! I've attended a few events at this mansion, and every time has been an amazing experience!!

It's open for public tours. Calling them before going is recommended.

Beautiful place to get married

Tours booked by phone in advance. Interesting little museum in an active professional career networking organization’s building. Nice collection of East Asian art & even the desk the Monroe Doctrine was signed on.
