The Galeries Lafayette Rooftop is a hidden gem in Paris, offering a breathtaking view of the city for free. Unlike many tourist spots, it's not crowded, allowing you to enjoy the panorama in peace. Besides the stunning view, there's a souvenir store and a restaurant where you can relax and take in the sights. Make sure to visit on your next trip to Paris for an unforgettable experience.

This is a great mall with a nice rooftop to have a great view out to the Paris city. I would recommend for those who want to have a drink at the roof top to make a reservation. One can take the escalator up to the roof. On the second last storey one can also choose this cafe which has view to city but in an indoor setting. The mall has a dome roof with tinted window with artwork.

U can see the Eiffel Tower from here too.

There is no ticket or fee required to come to the rooftop.

Le Rooftop est assez sympa.
La vue est très belle sur plusieurs grands monuments de Paris.
Après, on regrette de ne pas pouvoir boire une bière, manger des tapas ou se poser quelques minutes. C'est très dommage.
À faire seulement si vous avez le temps.

Amazing location on the rooftop of the woman department of Galeries Lafayette free of charge with great views of Paris. Really love to come here mostly every time I am coming to Paris.

Very beautiful place to visit with friends and family. Was quite busy and a bit difficult to walk around but overall enjoyed the experience.
The rooftop had a beautiful view however it could be better if they plant some flowers and make it look better

This was one of two galleries. I was recommended to check out for the rooftop! The recommendation was perfectly correct, and the view is breathtaking! The shops are wonderful, whimsical, and plentiful. It boggles the mind at the opportunities within the gallery.
The food has plenty of temptations as well!

Christmas is best time to visit, with the lights and huge magnificent tree as attraction in the middle of the mall

Over 6 floors of shopping for ladies, men, children and household. Restaurant on the the top floor.

Viewing balcony on the top floor for the magnificent Christmas tree, however you need prior booking which was full on the day.

Parking and traffic was a nightmare as it was peak time.

This FREE observation deck is inside the mall Galeries Lafayette. The mall was always so full of people every time I walked near it. I went in early December so it was to be expected as Christmas is around the corner. To get to the observation deck you need to take the escalators to the 8th floor (if I remember correctly). Once up there the views are extraordinary and the sign of Paris is cool. You get great pictures of the sign and the Eiffel Tower in the background. Very busy so people will be in line to take a picture. Highly recommend coming here .

If you want to have a great and aesthetically pleasing, beautiful view of Paris, this is one of the best rooftops you can go to! There isn’t that many people all the time when you go there, even during busy tourist season and it’s free with no ticket needed to visit!

First of all, the location is just perfect, it’s the rooftop of the prestigious Galeries Lafayette. Just visiting the inside is worth stopping by.

You get a pretty view of la Tour Eiffel from there, has well as a very close and detailed view of L’Opéra Garnier. You also get to see a small tiny glimpse of la Basilique de Sacré Cœur in Montmartre!

Overall, absolutely breathtaking and amazing view, worth it.

Really love a free view! I do wish I came at a different time of day, so the sun would’ve hit the city in a different light. But I enjoyed the escalator ride through luxury to view the top!
