Jeera rice, naan and gulab jamun in desserts were good. Veg curries were ok in taste and all gravies have the same taste.

We visited Daal Roti in Mississauga where they have a huge selection of both veg and non-veg options in the buffet but we opted for their a la carte menu. We ordered the Pani Puri which was really good and enjoyed the Pani Puri water shots once we were done with the actual puris. Next we tried the Hara Bhara Kebab and the Cheese Corn Balls both were tasty and packed with flavors that resonate well with a desi street food lover like me. Next we had the Chicken Mixed Grill which had 5 different flavors of Chicken on one platter - Chicken Tikka, Acahari Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Kebab, and Hariyali Tikka - out of which my favorite was the Achari Tikka. Next we enjoyed the Daal Tadka, with a freshly prepared warm naan. The Mom Style Chicken Curry had, nostalgic flavors of a home-cooked delicious meal. The final dish of the day was the Daal Makhni, with the spicy Bullet Naan which even on its own tasted really good but with the Daal Makhni it was a next level dish.

Food was awesome! The buffet was absolutely worth it, especially for the price.

One less star for service. It was good overall but could be better. We see people waiting in line for the small bowls and the plates at least every 3 mins, though it was understandable since the restaurant was packed. The guy on the counter was also a bit impatient.

Overall, it was such a great experience! Will definitely come back

I hve been to this place many times for indian food, their pricing are slightly higher than others in area, there food is good but the servicing is extremely slow, Their portion size is decent, one main course dish can serve 3 people depending on your appetite. The manager last time was very rude when they served Kulfi pista ice cream stating it is Raj bhog, upon questioning this he got the Tub from kitchen which had Raj bhog written on it to justify. Not a very professional or polite manner to speak with customer. Their ambience is good and food is tasty.

You need to try the spiciest naan in GTA!
daalroticanada has their special Bullet Naan with red and green chilli and cheese, super hot and worth trying with their signature Mom Made Chicken Curry!

We also loved their Mughlai Egg Masala and their sizzling platters, so much flavour packed in these dishes!

Don't miss out on the in house special Paan Kulfi and Sizzling Brownie to end the meal on a sweet note. We absolutely loved the Paan Kulfi and are surely coming back for more!

The ambiance and service is top notch and they have an amazing lunch buffet starting at only $14.99 as well which is a steal!

Me and my son went this Sunday for lunch. Great food with good ambience and value for money buffet. Tandoori Chicken on Sunday was a disappointment as it was a little stale and fresh. They were serving it by just heating it of the microwave and not by the tandoor. Rotis and Naans were not served hot. The desert was very poor in quality. Kheer was not sweet at all. Some yellow fruit custard was very watery. Halwa also was very ordinary. Gulab Jamun was good. Mutton was also good. Butter chicken was also nice. Dahi papdi was excellent.

Consistently good desi food! Have had their buffet - as well as A la carte - everything has tremendous flavour! Specially the vegetarian dishes - their daal is the best daal in North America!

Absolutely fantastic evening we had. 4 of us we went all out and had some delicious food and drinks and desert. Don't let the name fool you. Dal Roti seems like a very simple Dhabba kind name. The food was 5 *****. So we started with Mango Lassi and Mango mill shake and beer. Then, we ordered the chicken mix platter. Other than the Tandoori chk, everything else was saculant and very well marinated and very flavourful, haryana Tikka, chk Tikka, achari Tikka, Rashmi kabab The veggie mix Platter was too good, with Soya chap, Tandoori potatoes, paneer, and one more item, don't remember as that's what my wife ate. Me and the kids avoid vegetarian food when we eat outside, lol. Then we ordered the main course. Dal Makhni, Paneer butter masala, chicken Vidaloo, methi chk, goat biryani, butter Naan and Garlic Naan. To my surprise, the portions were nice and large for the price. Every dish was very flavourful and different from a regular Punjabi style food. So I asked where the chef was from. He is from Dehradun. Then we had to end it with desert, so we had Rasmalai, paan kulfi, and kesar pista ice cream as they ran out of Rajbhog ice cream. Every bite through the desert was very flavourful. Being a chef and a food critic, I should say this, I enjoyed some great North Indian food, and I would recommend people go there. Thank you, Dal Roti. we had a great time. Btw my wife had gone with her friend once for lunch, and she liked the food there, so we went there. Thanks to ma wife as well 😘
