Awesome community that welcomes and serves both those simply seeking and those with a desire to grow deep in their relationship with Christ!
I was homeless from July 2020 - Jan 2021. I am thankful that Liberty Church helped financially. However, in 2020 Liberty Church staff/volunteers took week(s) to respond in general but would post daily on social media which made no sense to me. JR, the community pastor, was proactive in 2021, but in 2020 I waited week(s) for general inquiries and prayer requests which is unacceptable as a business. In Nov 2020 I reached out for prayer request to simply uplift me in a time of need while I was homeless and I had to wait week(s) while the church staff/volunteers continued to post on social media everyday. I want Liberty Church to know that I would not have had any issues from the beginning if you had responded in a timely manner like a normal business because the church is still a business and the customer service was not good, especially during a pandemic. I was upset because I believe Liberty Church was not going to reach out to me for prayer request in 2020 because I had to take the initiative to reach out to them while I was homeless, ALONE in a new city, during a pandemic, in need of prayer and community- and did not feel welcomed in 2020. It is now 2021, but I was homeless during 2020 and was not able to properly address my concerns. I wish Liberty Church would apologize for there slow response as a business in 2020 because they fail to realize the damage they have done to me by thinking it was okay to wait week(s) to respond as a business while I was homeless, etc. I also feel like Liberty Church should include more dark-skinned people in general (staff, videos, conferences, etc) across the churches in the United States because representation matters. However, I was homeless and watched service online but there appeared to be a lack of representation online. A church should be a refuge and I did not feel accepted or welcomed. I am no longer apart of Liberty Church for the above reasons but I hope they can do better in the future!
Low key, genuine, no fuss Modern Christian community. Enjoyed visiting the 10am service.
