Unique purple restaurant with literally everything is in color purple (it's pretty overwhelming tbh!). Their lẩu bún mắm do taste good though and they even had bông điên điển to go with the bún mắm, which is pretty hard to find. We ordered a medium portion which kinda enough for a family of 5 (we dont usually eat a lot so that portion just feel right for us).
They offer the best and authentic Bun Mam in Houston.
1 hot pot is good enough for 2-3 people. It has a lot of topping as you can see in my photos.
Also, please don’t forget to order their sugarcane juice. It’s delicious!!!

Cute little restaurant with a full purple theme.
It's not easy finding a place that serves authentic Vietnamese Bun Mam. We were so excited to try Bun Mam Mien Tay for the first time!
Good portion size and very delicious 😋 This is the taste and flavor of my childhood! The Bun Mam was full of seafood and we were also given a huge plate of veggies.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try this unique and authentic Vietnamese dish. We will definitely be coming back for more!

The flavor of the bun mam is well balanced and light. Good amount of vegies give. The dish taste like home cooked bun mam.
Delicious lau mam!! Their small portion is perfect for two!! They serve a variety of greens with the meal. Will be coming back next time we visit!! The color purple seems to be the theme of the restaurant :p regardless great food!
If you are craving Bun Mam, this is the place! The food is absolutely delicious and it is as authentic as it can get to Bun Mam Soc Trang. The passion fruit drink is very good (and pretty to look at). Their food portion is very generous, the vegetable plate is huge. The restaurant is very clean with a lot of plants, the owner clearly has a green thumb. I highly recommend this place.
It’s nice and clean store with purple color. The owner was very friendly. We ordered small “lau mam” for 3 of us. It came with a dish of seafood, vermicelli and vegetables. The broth is very flavorful. You can ask for more vegetables with free of charge. Even though it’s small size, it still made 3 of us very full. I think it’s good for 4 people too. I think I’ll come back to try other dishes on the menu.
Food is always on point! Awesome, authentic, fresh, they don't skimp on their vegetables plates either. The new dish of Vietnamese crepes is excellent, I love it. Owner is super nice & always friendly! If u wanna try very authentic Vietnamese soup dish, must do!
