A grand urban structure that stood up to the massive forces of the 2013 flood waters. The Louise Bridge is beautiful in design and clearly well built to stand the test of time. Most people assume that the bridge was named for someone Royal; but in fact, the bridge is named for Louise Cushing - the daughter of the Mayor 1900 - 1901. Cushing was from Kenilworth Ontario; another in a long line of folks from that province who moved west and achieved some big dreams.

It has multiple names hillhurst bridge, Kensington bridge and Louise bridge. Place where you can touch river water too
