English labels need corrections. Small museum, but still worth checking it out.

In Amasya? Then spend an hour visiting this museum. With information boards in English and Turkish, you will learn all about the city over the years. There are some really good displays, and I especially liked the mosaics and learning about the Storm God!

Free with museum cards, parking limited.

Good one if you are in Amasya. Personaly I do not like the mummies, but the rest similar to Corum.

Brilliant and valuable pieces of artifacts, dating back to centuries, millennia and even fossils from 115 million years in a very plain presentation. A must see place. Well done to the curators.

There are a lot of nice things to see, both archeological and anthropological, but some of the English translations are terrible or missing. They are making a new museum so hopefully they'll fix the problems. Don't miss the mum's upstairs. Unfortunately there is no way for a handicap person to access the upstairs.
