Fantastic public transport by water, you can even take your bike or scooter, amazing.

Always a nice ride to Dordrecht. Bikes can be taken for free.

Took the Waterbus from Erasmusbrug to Kinderdijk and back in late April 2023. Easy and convenient way to get to Kinderdijk. I bought an online ticket for my Waterbus trip but fare can be paid using the OV-chip card.

Sehr pünktlich und nettes Personal. Die Tickets kann man ganz einfach während der Fahrt beim Personal kaufen.
Während der Fahrt kann man drinnen sitzen oder draußen stehen, wo man die Landschaft schön sehen kann.

We had a terrible experience with this company. We booked a trip from Erasmusbrug bridge to Kinderdijk. According to their travel planner, it is possible to board the 9am line 20 and transfer at De Schans. However, when we tried to board, the attendant barked at us that it would not be possible to transfer at De Schans as there are no ferry doing the transfer. When we mentioned that their trip planner recommended this route, she barked at us again that the travel planner does not work and to board line 21 at 11:40 instead. While trying to determine our options, we asked about the times of the return trips from Kinderdijk and she barked at us again that she didn't know.

In the end we decided to take an Uber and had a wonderful day in Kinderdijk but this whole experience with the Blue Amigo waterbus was terrible.

First, their online tool failed to provide accurate information. Second, their customer service failed to communicate in a cordial manner. Third, their customer service failed to provide assistance when needed.

Nice way to travel (went to kinderdijk, bought the tickets easily online on the official site), nice and helpful staff.

I did enjoy the waterbus so much! It's only a 40 minute trip from Erasmusbrug to Papendrecht. Beautiful views. The lady on board allowed me to pay by credit card as I didn't have a pass.

Great for commuting, but also for fun. Although it takes a little longer than by train, but the trip itself is very relaxing and one gets nice views over the water. Especially when you want to take your bike. Notice you need to check in and out with your OV-chip card on the dock, not on the ship itself (this has changed).
