What on earth. On their website it says brown rice is an additional $0.50. So tell me why they charged $2.50 for brown rice for ONE 6-piece roll? The price was so high we thought they had made a mistake with the order and given us brown rice on all of the sushi rolls. An additional $2.50 for brown rice is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!
My first time here with my husband and it was a sumptuous food and stellar service from Oshin. I love the ambience of the place. I would recommend the braised pork , mushroom , takoyaki and sushi combos.
We would definitely bring our friends next time we visit.
Shout out to the kitchen. The food was great! ❤️

The service was amazing. The sushi and rolls were great and tasty. Especially off the menu😏. Great price for quality
wanted to have something light. Ended up having their mango salad with addition of avocado. It was very fresh and flavourful. The service was very nice too. They gave me their chicken karage to taste on the house, that was very good too. Will definitely order it when I go next time.
We actually had a plethora of sushi as well however, they didn’t make the picture cut as I was too busy indulging in all of the fresh sushi rolls. Delicious is the only way I could have described my experience here. 😋 Please feel free to have a gander at the appetizers though- they made it to the camera roll. Karaage Chicken- 10/10, Sashimi- 10/10. Check them out!
This is one of my go-to’s for casual sushi in dt Toronto! The yellowtail jalapeño roll is my FAVOURITE I get it every time and I’ve never seen it anywhere else. Only thing is that sometimes the jalapeño is really spicy and sometimes it’s not. The torched salmon aburi is also delicious. The salmon is soft, the sauce is so good and has just the right amount of spice 😋 Lastly, the prices aren’t bad at all!
Not a happy experience.
We tried
- Sashimi Boat (15 pieces) $ 22.95
- Takoyaki (5 pieces) $ 7.5
- Philadelphia Roll $ 6.5
The best part was the Takoyaki. The rest weren't good at all. The Sashimi was not fresh. The fish pieces weren't soft and hard to bite on in some cases. We decided not to finish it. We were concerned of getting poisoned. We had the same problem with the
Philadelphia, as well. The Salmon didn't taste fresh.
It was also hard to get staff to ask for a refill of water or the cheque. They were busy at the back, maybe in kitchen. Weren't available in the dining area.
All in all, not a happy experience and do not recommend.
