Located in Belltown, this is the place to get a "home" version of Korean food. This is what you would expect from a family restaurant and all the warmth and attention to customers that should be the standard.

They are a storefront located on the corner, so like you will have to find street parking and walk a block or two.

As a caveat, I am a bit more strict on the Korean food, so just add a star to everything rate for the food, because I am honestly VERY picky.

Having said that, the meal started off great as they served us the corn tea, which is something that leans towards the more traditional. The tea set the tone for the experience I would have and the food I would be getting.

The tea was good, but it was served in a metal cup, and it was just lukewarm. And that is how all of the food came out, except for one dish that came out perfectly perfect. (*watch the video) The rest of it fell a bit flat. The ribs came out chewy and not sizzling at all (in fact, we had to ask to have it cooked some more). The same with the beef in my kimchee soft tofu soup, it was chewy. On the flipside, the jjajangmyun was good, but the noodles were very overcooked and lacked the chewyness that you should have in the noodles.

All in all, the flavor was good, and the additions like the side dishes and multi-grain rice they served complemented the meal very nicely.

Midas 5-stars for the corn tea, side dishes (banchan), and warm attentive service.
Midas 3.5-stars for the food and the lukewarmness.

This is a sweet family run joint that I stumbled upon after The chiropractor visit in Queen Anne last year. I don’t think I’ve gone back to a single place so many times in my life!

Alice and her family are incredible. She Remembered my order and my favorite seat, even though I’ve only been twice before. She’s so friendly and Attentive. Side dishes are made in house.

My favorite is galbitang with glass noodles and the jajangmyun (black bean noodles) remind me of this place back home (Guam- charming corner).

The galbitang meat is so tender and the soup is so flavorful without being too much. I could eat it everyday.

Can’t wait to go back!

Food was really good and comforting on a cold night! Prices are extremely reasonable considering the portion size. Banchan (side dishes) were so tasty it could have been a meal on its own too. We ordered the Combo 5 (beef bulgogi & kimchi soup) and the Spicy sliced beef soup which came with yummy grained rice. Everything was a hit! Would definitely recommend and be back!

Don't judge a book by its cover-
Even though I may look pretty messy on the outside, the interior is comfy and sweet. And the food is amazing.

The meal was like a home made meal.
Side dishes were tasty and generous with variety too; I’ve never been to any K-restaurant that offered that much side dishes.
The food was tasty; I had asked for it to be spicy and they delivered 👍🏾🫰🏾
I’ll be sure to visit again when I return to Seattle again.
Till then, please stay open and healthy 🫶🏾🙏🏾

Beef short rib soup is amazing 👏 and lots of meat !!! This is 5 star foods. Also banchan was okay ! But Seafoods pancake is too thick, too much flour, so it can not taste seafoods in there.
Kalbi- Bbq short rib is too sweet ... sad .
And server is not focusing to clients, but enjoying with smartphone and airpod. Another sad part.
It can be really good experience or really bad dine-in. It is kinds of luck ... but I will try it out another time again for so delicious short rib soup(ttang)
P.s. I guess Kimchi was so tasty, then we need to try Kimchi stew or anything woth Kimchi !!!

Homey hole-in-the-wall vibe with friendly staff and fantastic food! Stone bowl bibimbap is a must, and the short river bone soup was tender and delicious!

Definitely hands down one of the best Korean restaurants we have been in the US. Location isn't the best but was absolutely surprised with the quality of the food. Ordered Jajangmyeon, Tofu soup and Yukaejang. These three dishes are the bomb! Side dishes are somewhat lacking but we came for the main entrees which didn't disappoint. Prices were also very reasonable. Will be back again to try the rest of the menu.
