Esta terminal es muy cómoda y además es muy fácil de llegar. Tienes variedad de transporte, bus interurbano, taxi, y la lanzadera que es un bus gratuito entre terminales, te deja para coger el tren de cercanías a Barcelona.

I spent a whole night here, after like 1 am they turned off the main lights, so part of it was dark inside and it was one of the most amazing experiences like most of the time it felt like I was totally alone. It was surreal.
10/10 would stay awake the whole night here again.

PS only bad point: the drinking water is terrible, but is that a universal thing for Barcelona?

The Barcelona airport is quite large, there’s two separate terminals, but coming from the US on American (or British airways, Iberia, Vueling) you’ll most likely be in terminal 1. Arriving was simple, passport control was fast, getting luggage took a moment, and there really wasn’t a customs check for me.

After exiting the arrivals, you have to select how you will get to the city, the cheapest will probably be the metro/subway (for a single person or pair). Follow the picture signs, and it will lead you to the station area. The best deal will be to get the Hola! BCN ticket, which are multiple day passes for unlimited rides on different systems (but i only rode the subway). If you plan correctly, the official website offered a 10% discount, in which you will get an email code to redeem at a machine. It really does work. The machines take credit cards or euros only.

When departing, the signage isn’t the best because for check-in it doesn’t label by airline immediately, you have to search for your flight, then find the counter number to check in. Security was a little slow. After is passport check. Depending on your departure gate area, the food options could be not that desirable, but i think you are able to walk around the entire terminal, but it is quite large. I was in D, but was tired and lazy to go to E or ABC.
