I've always wanted to see the Sutro Tower up close and see how massive it actually is! Definitely worth the trip to see this historic and famous radio Tower while I was in San Francisco on a beautiful fall day.

2022. It's a fun picturesque scenic iconic San Francisco landmark & tourist attraction. Great views of downtown San Francisco, the bay, the east bay, Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, & Marin. July, 2023: It was too foggy 🌁 to see the new limited term light show. Why did the city allow it in the foggy 🌁 summer months? The city government never does anything that makes sense, & they waste billions of our tax dollars every year.

The view from Twin Peaks in absolutely insane. Definitely on par with Griffith down in LA and just as iconic. Photos can’t really show the full “depth of field” sort of feel you get here. Still a sick place to get them wallpapers.

Came to see the tower however the fog was covering the base. Nice view never the less.

There is a trail that makes a loop around the tower. The tower is pretty tall.

It's Sutro Tower! 977 feet above the ground and 1,811 feet above San Francisco, this radio tower is as iconic as the Bay Bridge or Golden Gate to any San Francisco resident. Highly recommend the hiking trail around it (park on Dellbrook or walk from Twin Peaks) to appreciate its scale. Or, if you're in the Mission or downtoy, catch a good view of it peaking out from the fog rolling in.
