Nothing special for renovated airport, employees here speak German basically so we can’t all understand, the lines are huge, long waits and nothing works
Omg the rudest people ever. Klm check desk was so rude to us when we asked a simple question and security is really a step back in time. I don't want to say it. But really the security and officers reminded me of ... Yelling and angry faces.
Pretty good experience easy to get too from central Berlin set train fare of 4 euros and about took about 25 minutes
On line checking obviously helps to speed the process, the security queue was about 10 minutes unusually the security staff were extremely friendly

Probably the worst airport in the world right now.
They are keeping us packed like sardines in a can, with no seats, toilet or vending machines in front of the exit to the airplane for 40 minutes.

Finally opened! In covid time you can’t tell how it will work in full operation but looks like it will have potentials.
Ich war heute (15.9.2020) beim Probebetrieb, durfte zweimal einchecken und zweimal ankommen. Funktionierte im großen und ganzen schon ganz gut. Es gibt allerdings noch viel zu tun. Der Innenausbau der Geschäfte und Restaurants z. B. steht noch ziemlich am Anfang. WLAN funktionierte sehr gut. Nach meinem Eindruck findet man sich gut zurecht. Die Bahn war noch nicht in Betrieb. Aber ab 31.10.2020 wird ja alles fertig und in Betrieb sein.
