The person working on the check in counter on Saturday 27th night for the Bucharest flight , with a silver beard with braid and tattoos was the friendliest and happiest person working in an airport I have encountered, and I travel all over the world. It’s good that this person gets the recognition they deserve from their employers of the great job they are doing.
The airport is “cozy” but too small to handle international traffic - the building doesn’t appear to have been built for a lot of people, badly connected to Stockholm, no business lounge, narrow passageways, one coffee shop. I know low cost carriers save money by flying to airports like that but this airport seems like a step too far. Next time flying into Stockholm I will be willing to pay more just to get down at a more convenient airport.

That is truly the worst airport I've ever been to. Once you've asked to go on board, there is no place to sit, no WC and even if there was one, would be impossible to use cause 200 people standing in a small corridor is insane. Highly recommended to NOT choose this place as your destination point. It is the worst...
This small airport is easy to navigate, clean and compact. The minuses are limited transportation to city centre (both Nyköping and Stockholm), accommodation was merely Connect Skavsta Hotel. Need to consider for further development if there’s a plan for being an LCC hub
Really small airport mainly dedicated to low cost airlines, easy to leave, as advantage I count the impossibly to get lost here. The main challenge is to get to Stockholm city center, it's better to buy bus ticket in advance, then stay at the line to wait for the transportation.
Though it is used only by one single airline, Skavsta's services are much better than you would think of such a tiny airport. Has a great variety of foods and has a well-equipped duty-free shop as well. Nice staff, clean toilets.
Small airport, you need to walk to the plane. It is used mainly by Wizzair and some charter flights. It is not crowded and inside there are some restaurants and a cafe and a small shop plus a dutyfree. In the dutyfree you can find local products and souvenirs and in some cases I noticed that the prices are below the ones from shops in Stockholm city center. The airport is very clean and the checkin, security check and passport check are very ok, you will not loose too much time.

Staff would rush everyone onto the planes much earlier than given boarding time creating an unneeded stress among the pax.

1st airport for me where there’s only 1 destination and 1 airplane for the day. It was nice.

1st airport for me where many of the alcohol there can’t be bought depending on your destination
Super clean airport including the toilets . You can find a direct bus from the train station of Skavsta to the airport versa versa. Or even direct bus from the airport to Stockholm city .
Staff were very friendly. And document control was really fast that we departed 20mins before time which is really nice.
It was an interesting airport experience for us!

Small airport, nice buffet and good gift shop. It takes 1,5 hour to get in Stockholm, but after landing there's a bus in 10 minutes. Well organized place.
