Flytoget

I forgot my backpack on the train, and phoned the help desk. A very kind person immediately could help me, and arranged that my backpack came back 30 min later at the same station. I have never seen this in my life, thank you and excellent service!

I tried the contact less machine, no sign on my phone ! I thought it’s not working then I bought physical ticket. and suddenly after coming home, I find out I paid twice 😪

Unfortunately my experience with Flytoget wasn’t pleasant. 10:20 AM a normal working day: OSL airport, enormous mount of people at the platform rushing inside the train, took every possible place within a few seconds. It was hot inside despite of late September. Naturally, all windows closed tightly with exclamation mark, like in all modern trains, just in case of, God forbid, working AC. I nearly fainted standing more than 30 minutes. Train’s capacity by far too low, lots of people crowded with no place to sit!

Doppelt so teuer wie normaler Regionalzug, der nur wenige Minuten mehr braucht. Und dann kann man am Automaten noch nicht Mal mit dem Handy bezahlen, nachdem man ewig Schlange steht. Nur physische Karte möglich an dem Automaten wo wir waren. Dass man aber einfach auch direkt bei der Zutrittskontrolle hätte kontaktlos bezahlen können, sieht man erst wenn man dann dort ist. Sauteuer und mieser Service, und dann ist der Zug noch so voll dass viele stehen müssen.

I bought the tickets to go and come. On my way back, they simply canceled the trains, there was nothing written in the station.
I had to get a cab otherwise I would miss my flight.
Now they blame me because there was a buss going from another station (not the one I was departing from and had the tickets already), and I did not get it!

Avoid it if you can! :(

Well designed, efficient transport from OSL to the city center. Clean, well managed, frequent. Only annoyance is when they take it out of service, then you are put on traditional buses which are slower, packed, and far less pleasant, despite being also clean, modern, etc.

Der moderne, schicke Zug bringt sie schnell (ca. 20-25 Minuten), sicher und sehr bequem (Selten besser in einem Zug gesessen) in die Stadt oder zum Flughafen. Preislich höher aber wer ohne Probleme in einem sauberen Zug von A nach B gebracht werden möchte sollte diese Möglichkeit nutzen.

This was amazing travel from Oslo Airport to Oslo Central Station - I am railway enthusiast from Poland and found this travel emotional and extremely interesting, especially because of high speed - 210 km per hour. Journey to Oslo Central Station lasts exactly 22 minutes! I am also very grateful for the highest quality of services of train crew, so as supporting staff of Flytoget at both stations. They are ready to answer all questions, also from railway enthusiasts:), like me. Flytoget high speed trains go every 10 minutes, and it makes this way of travelling not only the most time-saving, but extremely interesting. I am very sensitive on safety procedures, and I found these applied at Flytojet as the most restrictive, which makes passengers' journey safe, quiet and comfortable. At each pair of seats in the train everybody could read safety instructions, written both in Norwegian and English, in very simple way (with drawing of train scheme). It is only one sheet of thick paper, but information are written on both pages, in very quick way. Electric sockets are double in every two seats, so there is no issue to use it for our electrical appliances. It was great pleasure to use Flytoget high speed trains during my visit to Oslo. I recommend this highest quality services not only to travel enthusiasts, but all passengers who are interested in the best and time-saving way of travelling.
