Mata Vaishno Devi Temple is considered the most important Shakti Peetha of Goddess Sati. Some believe that the skull of the goddess fell here after the Daksha Yagna episode. However, the discovery of a human hand lead others to believe that her right arm was the body part that fell here.... 🙏🙏JAY MATA DI... 🙇🙌🙏🙏

We personally didn't know that there was a Maa Vaishno Devi Temple here in Kolkata. I've been going to Vaishno Devi in Jammu for the past 20 years and to have a new Temple here in Kolkata is very welcoming.

You have to keep going towards Rajarhat crossing from Chinar Park. After 650m, there is a huge gate embossed with the temple name. Keep moving towards the first right and you will find the 3 storeyed temple in a small lane. The Temple complex is neat and clean and the 9 incarnations of Maa Durga are present here. I loved the place. Will keep coming more and more.

Must visit for all Hindu devotees. Sacred and satisfying. Journey experience is simply superb in an ethereal atmosphere. Divine Darshan is guaranteed to take away your breath. Advised to take the easy path instead of taking the steep way by avoiding stairs. Keep ample time in hand and at least twelve hours should be planned way ahead to avoid hurry.
