This zoo is nothing exceptional. All of the creatures can be found in any zoo. There is no adjacent cafeteria or food court. But they have a large fish collection though. There were no restrooms in the zoo. The tickets are standard. The zoo is well-kept. It's not even a proper zoo. If you have some spare time, you should definitely go.

A best place to visit with family. Having quite good atmosphere and green lans make it more beautiful. Animals like Deer, Leopard and other bird species make it even more beautiful and attractive especially for children. So i suggest you to come along with your family and friends, it's a good place to get peace of mind and to have a time with nature. But remember it is closed on Tuesday and Open for rest other days.

Nice place to visit in pleasant weather. Can be amusing for children. It is a small zoo and can be covered in an hour or so. The entry fee is Rs. 40 per person. There are some public toilets inside but not maintained.
Some local food stalls are available outside the entry including Banta bottle, nutri kulcha, golgappe, ice cream etc.

It's a beautiful place to visit in Jammu, but lots of Animals were missing there, there is a female ticket checker guard who is filled with ego and misbehaves ... There is a beautiful place to stay in the centre of the zoo, The best thing is that there was running water in a canal

Good place to enjoy especially for children. There are many species of wild animals. This place is perfect for holiday vacation as there is huge lush green park also where kids can play easily. This place is surrounded by big and large trees which gives the feeling of real wild place or forest. There is also one little pond at the upper side of zoo where one can enjoy sightseeing the large white Swans and ducks.

They don't have much animals or birds in the zoo. However kids will love this place as they can alteast see some wild animals. They only have Leopards, Bears, 2 snakes, peacocks and deers. There are bushes all around which needs to be cleaned up and Parks also need to be maintained properly.

My first day in Jammu, my host Ayaz took me here for a quick visit. The zoo is poorly maintained and no monitoring anywhere apart from the entry to check the 20 rupees ticket. They could have kept them in better condition and atmosphere. Hope to see some progress in the coming days!
