Great food and service in a modern aesthetic and cozy atmosphere. I found the flavors of the udon noodle soup to be very balanced and delicious. Would love to go back to try more on the menu.

One of the best udon in town! Authentic Japanese udon taste. The soup is on point and the udon texture is top notch. This is the best bowl of udon you can get without flying to Japan!

Ebiten udon is recommended. The noodle is not sticky but pretty chewy. The soup base is definitely the soulmate. It comes with beautiful crystal amber color. It is full of well-mixed sauce flavor. there is also some subtle sweet taste that creates refreshing feeling. The appetizer dish tastes okay and there is no surprise for the flavor.

The service is nice. They are willing to know customers’ opinions during dining time. It would be better if they open reservation booking system as I do not really have patience to waste time joining in the waiting list.

The atmosphere is not bad. Narrow space but cozy and clean. It would be better if they are able to have a bigger place for the restaurant so the space between tables could be more comfortable.

Regarding transportation, it is super convenient that 501 Streetcar directly stops at the entrance of the restaurant. There is also some GreenP parking space alongside the road.

I ordered the nabeyaki udon and my friend ordered the ankake udon.

My udon came with two pieces of shrimp tempura. The udon was pretty good but I honestly didn’t think it was worth the price point.

I probably would have been better off ordering the same udon my friend ordered. The thick egg soup was pretty good and overall more worth its price point.

Fantastic place if you're looking for high quality food. It's super clean tasting and very simple, but done extremely well.

My only gripe is the cost as this would be so cheap in Japan.. but it's the price you pay for authentic japanese food here.

Interior is great and service is great too.

5 stars straight.

The gyoza is ok but the udon is really great, the noodle is super chewy, totally different from all other udon noodles i have tried so far (in China, Japan and here in Canada), i really like this udon noodle. I ordered the niku udon, generous portion of beef which is super tender and flavorful, the soup is also gorgeous especially with the chili oil.

Definitely will keep visiting this place frequently and really looking forward to try other dishes on the menu

Delicious! We had the kani ankake and spicy niku with a side of chicken tatsuta-age. The soup was really good. The ankake soup is pretty thick and different than other udon soup I’ve had in the past. The spicy niku wasn’t too spicy, the braised beef was soft, and the tripe was really flavourful. Wished the udon was a bit chewier. Really great service, especially for our toddler. We did wait almost 1h 15 min and were there by 5pm and we were a large group.

The two stars are for the service and the udon noodle texture. The place is small and crowded when busy. I don’t think the food is worth the price and it really didn’t taste good. I got the tan tan and while the bowl is large, there are only some veggies and ground pork and that’s mostly it. I second one of the reviewers “it’s like a eating challenge”. And the broth just didn’t have much taste. My leftover food was also only packed with a paper bag with some staples so a lot of it spilled out on the way home. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
