Tried their Halwa Poori. Very economic and tasty. Also tried BBQ cheese paratha, but which tasted just fine. Poori was amazing, though.

The food was good but there was space issue and the air conditioners were not working properly.
Highly recommended if you are fond of stuffed paratha, Specially chicken cheese Reshmi paratha. I visited on multiple occasions for Breakfast. Tried Chicken Reshmi, BBQ, simple chicken Paratha and
Halwa poori.
Tried Kashmir chai but taste was not upto mark. Although simple chai and lassi were good along with breakfast.
Good place to visit with family members as environment is great and food quality is good within economical price.

Baithak is a wonderful place to go with family and friends. The food is super delicious. And there is a wide variety of breakfast dishes as well as others. The halwa puri in particular is fantastic and I love going there again and again for it. It is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants present in boat basin. Highly recommended.
Mutton Peshawari karahi was good in taste 👍
But Chicken Makhani Handi was filled up with lot of cream, if you are ordering white handi mention that you want it with less quantity of cream. I think it will be okay after that.

Well its located in Clifton Boat Basin Food Street on the service road there is some area where you can park your cars, we ordered reshmi chicken phrata, chicken cheese phrata, halwa puri, tea, coffee & soft drinks. The phratas was delicious but too much oily & halwa puri also delicious n fresh black coffee was average, prices are high. Phrata size was small so it should be bigger as per price value. They do have sitting area inside/outside as well, only one toilet available. Food service timing slow.
If you want to just enjoy the morning of Karachi and have an average taste halwa poori do visit it occasionally but halwa poori of almost every restaurant at boatbasin is very average, chewy poori with overly sweet halwa and tarkari chickpeas cholay and allo bhujia just had taste of laal mirch (spices) omelette was full.of oil no taste and chai was also very average. But if you are coming to Karachi first time or a tourist do visit this place early in the morning like 6 am. Also the paan wala there is really good do try its sonf khushbu paan. Loved it.
