Good place. But bags are checked for plastics, etc. In winter, birds visit. Packaged foods are not allowed. Lake is divided by a road into two parts.

This is a much-needed green lung for the city, with entry through multiple gates. It’s a busy spot in the mornings with morning walkers and has good public gym facilities, and sports facilities for members. Accessible to seniors, the area has multiple pay-and-use restrooms. Overall it’s a good place but needs a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

The Lion’s Safari enclosed area is privately maintained and has a small wooded section that is excellent for birding. The main lake and other water bodies are also good birding spots, especially the island, which has a nesting site for endangered Painted Storks.

An oasis in a desert of buildings... An amazing place to get in touch with nature - I went for many morning runs, and finished the run more energized than at the start. A must visit, especially in the morning.

Side note - have a coconut water and samosa/jalebi at Maharani-maharaja to fill your bellies after the walk!

Best place for couples 👩‍❤️‍👨🤗 also a perfect place to hang out with friends 👭🧑‍🤝‍🧑 ।Sundays are very crowded here compared to other days, there is no entrance fee.The park has tow gates to enter, at the first gate bags are checked, bags containing any plastic are not allowed to enter. There are many places to sit, such as chairs around the lake as well as elsewhere inside. Evening time is best for couples 😶‍🌫️The environment is very beautiful and pleasant 🥰

Very nice place for morning walk, jogging, outdoor activities and exercises. Several open gym equipments especially for ladies and older people. Ambience is very good. Low air & noise pollution as compared to nearby places. With big water bodies, big one is used for rowing too (through nearby club memberships). Several pay & use toilets, Play for kids, drinking water, 02 nos. specially designed accu pressure paths. You can also see some beautiful & rare birds there. Total 12 entry gates. Lots of free on road parking space outside the park. Several types of beverages & breakfast available nearby.

Very nice ambience in the morning. Favorite for morning walkers. Well maintained park. A narrow lane around the lake is pretty well for walking and enjoying the beauty of the greenery around the lakes. You can start your day from here. From the busy Kolkata traffics, air pollution, it's a sure relief. Worth visiting here.

One of the best places in Kolkata . The scenery of this place is mesmerizing and there are many old trees and many types of trees in this place. Well maintained and clean place. You can go with friends and loved ones to enjoy the scenery of this lake. the best places for couples to hangout much time without any disturbance and other problems. The best part of this place is the big lake.
