One of the secret hidden gardens of Madrid, worth a visit and lingering in the sun ☀️ Free entrance
Beautiful hidden garden just metres away from the hustle and bustle.
Love the garden, however it is not adapted for strollers. Also no street food closeby but it is nice for picnic.
Tucked away behind a wall in a little corner of Plaza de la Paja in the very picturesque Barrio de la Latina is the Garden of the Prince of Anglona. This small garden, once the backyard of the prince's residence, oozes with charm and gives you an idea of what the gardens of nobility used to look like in the past. Spend a minute or a day and enjoy the quiet.
Beautiful garden hidden amongst cafes and restaurants. A true gentleman in the city. Small but impactful. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Lovely roses in bloom when we visited.
We visited too early in the year and there wasn't much to see would suggest going from mid April on as it looked like plants were just starting to come out.
Lots of different sections to visit and the entrance fee was very cheap (4euros each).

Lovely hidden garden. If you're in the area it's a nice place to come sit and relax. It's a bit small but quite quaint. Beware of weekend visits as you will most definitely run into tourist groups making their rounds and considering it's a bit small, it doesn't offer too much privacy. Last time I was there I was basically part of the tour simply by being there.
