"Beautiful Estate with Apathetic Management Regarding Guest Experience"
We stayed in a Vintage House Suite and spent an entire morning in their spa on one day receiving multiple services that were fantastic. The Spa staff were friendly and we had a great experience there and felt that the price was a reflection of the high level of service provided.
Unfortunately there was a blackout on the final day of our 4 day stay and the Vintage house staff were completely unprepared for how to communicate with their guests. We spent that evening in complete darkness (other than a candle we had gotten somewhere else). It was freezing and there were no food or comfort options available or offered. We have stayed in highly rated properties during storms and unexpected weather issues in the past and never experienced the nonchalant attitude regarding the comfort of the guests. After we left we sent a letter requesting that final night be refunded and why we were requesting it, we did not get a response. I followed up by calling and confirming that the letter was received and was promised a response and that was never done either. It's clear that the management of this Estate does not focus on the service they provide and instead relies on the beauty and location of the property. We would definitely stay in Yountville again but not at this Estate. I'm including in this review the email letter I sent and they received that management refused to respond to.
I would like to discuss the final day of our stay at The Vintage house. We were in room 813 and although we understand that you can not control the weather, we feel strongly we should be reimbursed for that night. We lost power before 2:00 PM and received no communication from anyone. We did not even know what was happening until we went to the lobby to inquire and were told “yes, the whole town is out”. That was it. When we asked for extra blankets and a light source as it was freezing in that room the head of housekeeping said they’d already put an extra blanket (it was a thin knit blanket that would not have been enough at all), I said we definitely need more than that. We asked for something more substantial and they did give us an additional bedspread. Thank goodness as it was very cold. They at first said they didn’t have a light source but eventually gave us a plug in small light that we were told would last about an hour. We went to a winery and bought a candle to provide us light for the night. We in no way were able to enjoy the room. Everyone was very nonchalant regarding offering any kind of assistance or communication. No one was rude but the attitude was clearly that they felt it just was not their problem.
We do understand that the situation was out of your hands but we also paid for a very specifically marketed experience and not only was that not what we got on that last night but no one really cared either.
For these reasons we feel we should receive a refund for that last evening. Thank you.
Please forward this to whoever needs to see it and we’d appreciate a response.
Warm Regards,

Warm Regards,
I captured a wedding at the Yountville Estate and it was breathtaking! It's the heart of wine country and so all so refined and elegant and also charming and grounded. The vineyards provide a unique place to have a wedding ceremony, making a vow exchange feel intimate and romantic. The Social is a fun, quite little nook on the property that provides a privacy with all the touches of luxury that the estate is known for. Can't say enough good things about my recent visit, hope to return soon!
Beautiful hotel, lots of amenities. Snacks galore in the room. Excellent Bath and Body in your room. Just beware if you're on the first floor will hear noise of your upstairs neighbors.
I didn't get the bungalow I booked as they were out of order Which was not too bad as we got an upgraded room. We were also given a cheese plate (it came on a paper plate which was a little rustic) and a bottle of red to compensate. Breakfast was lovely but there is no hot food buffet so if you want a cooked breakfast that's extra. It's a nice place and great location, but we left expecting maybe a little more given how much we paid.
I'd come back again though

Just perfect if you want to be in the center of Yountville. The rooms at the Vintage House are spacious, the breakfast is excellent, the location is just perfect right in the middle of the main drag. No winery in the Napa Valley is more than 30 min away. Well recommended if you'd like to be in the best part of Napa Valley.
We had an amazing stay. We’ll absolutely be back. Soft, beautiful piano during breakfast? Yes please. Perfect location. Complimentary wine and snacks. The room floor (wooden) could’ve been cleaner and the bath pressure was low. Otherwise NO complaints.
The location is very convenient and within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in town. The rooms are large and nice for a short stay (closet & storage space is limited), but sufficient for an extended weekend stay.
The service in the bar and dining area was almost nonexistent at times. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but there was just not enough staff to provide decent service during our stay.

Truly a nice hotel on the main street in Yountville. Very short walk to many excellent restaurants and numerous wine tasting rooms.
The rooms at the Vintage house are well maintained with a nice outdoor porch with seating. The room is well lit and I could easily read without straining. Bathroom is spacious with a nice hot tub and well lit
Breakfast is nice but basically the same every day. You can order off a menu for an extra charge
