We stayed near this square in a lovely AirBnB. Everyday we'd walk through this square on our way to see some more of Lisbon. Really cute square with some horse-head fountains. There's a few restaurants on either end and some locals selling wine as well. Usually saw a few tuk-tuks for rent near the street across from the Museu de Fado.
We visited the Castelo de S Jorge, then walked through the Alfama neighborhood on our way down to this square. I'd recommend that walk to everyone as there are many beautiful spots along the way. The square itself is quite pretty. It was busy with people, and many great restaurants.
Pretty underwhelming after seeing so much beauty in Lisbon. I’d keep it low on the list for your day.
A lovely place to relax and enjoy a drink or two, lovely vibes..cocktail was €15, there iseating & drinking in it, made with Portugues rum, the inside of the pineapple & coconut cream...
Such an unique experience walking through the oldest area of Lisbon, eye opening.
Nice square. I love the grand mother sale the chocolate cup with cherry alcohol.

This place is like a great gate to the old town of Lisbon with loads of cute tiny streets going up and down and gazillion of restaurants. Have some cash with you as some places don’t accept cards or only over €10 and make sure your camera is on 100% because you won’t be able to stop taking pictures 📸
