There is ample metered parking around the library. The library is spacious and always neat/ orderly. Perfect place to get work done!
Best library in the BCCLS system! It's not what's on the shelves and the enormity of the services offered. It is the expert librarians who compassionately produce professional results for anyone who walks in the doors. The RPL is The Community Treasure of Rutherford.
This library has SO MANY activities every week for the children in town. I truly appreciate and love all the memories I’ve created in the library with my daughter.
We love this place! We adore Miss Jane & Miss Fran. We’ve come every week since baby was 5 months old! She’s 13 months & treasures her time here. Thank you to the team!

Pros:

- Table spaces to work spread out the library
- good lighting
Cons:
- it's on the smaller side but doesn't have that small cozy feel to it.
- kid section is OK but small
- it's open looking because I feel like the selection is not very large - there's so much room to fill.

Never quiet(except early mornings). Lot of kids programs or programs that they close the whole library and I’ve never really seen that, usually libraries have separate places for events. And no one ever tells kids to lower their tone. Libraries are suppose to be quiet.
Excellent library, clean and neat. Lots of books movies and other items to use. They even have several computers to use as well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If they don’t have the book(s) you seek, they will arrange to get them! Parking is on street with meters.... No parking lot available.
