This lovely structure offers local residents a place to collect. Some afternoons Mexican folk dancers rehearse, that same morning a hired photographer takes staged photos of Hasidic mothers and their babies. On occasion bicyclists use it to take shelter from a torrential summer rain. Whomever and however this peristyle is being used, it’s wonderful and very useful.
Every year we come together to give thanks to the Lord. There's little cleaning but the spot.
Looks good but it needs a lots of repair otherwise tiles from ceiling is gonna start falling on peoples heads
We got a permit to host our Anniversary Brunch there. It was great despite the children birthday party that has happening simultaneously during our celebration.( right next to us with loud music) It was challenging 😳 but we had a great time overall.
Now called the Peristyle it was previously (for 30+ years) known as the Grecian Shelter.

Nice stop at Prospect Park. Its a beautiful building but a little ran down. The location is really breathtaking during fall and winter. It may need some care from both, the city and the people. During summer I even saw people making a barbecue in it. Strange regulations in NYC never sease to amaze me.
Wonderful estructure, I celebrated here my wedding. It's a very romantic place. I wish everybody respect it, sadly I could see some graffiti on the columns. Please, take care of this 1904 masterpiece.
