I have yet to go in, but the views from outside are quite pretty. It was unfortunately closed when I was in the neighbourhood, but I may want to visit at some point in the future if I am around. Been a longtime English heritage member and never left dissapointed.
Lovely walk around the grounds, but trail is mucky. Kids played in both playgrounds. Coffee available in coach House. Toilets available.
This was a Chistmas wreath making workshop which was really good fun. The actual Marble Hill house is closed at the moment.
On our private tour of the House and Landscape for 20 people we were amazed to see the restoration of recent years, opening up more rooms to visit and revealing more features in the gardens. The guides were excellent, easy to listen to and knowledgeable. A good range of gifts in the shops and a super café with lovely staff.
I was just waiting around for my car to be fixed and came across this park with a beautiful house at the end. It was already close for the day but I m planning to visit. Beautiful even from a distance.
Lovely site from English Heritage in Twickenham in Richmond borough, South West London. Free entry. I enjoyed their café. Lovely ice cream!

Marble Hill was the house of Henrietta Howard, a woman with who married an abusive man, The Duke of Suffolk and was mistress of the King George II. She finally retired to this house built for her and happily married again. House was built in Palladian architecture. Henrietta was very social and she used to enjoy the company of her neighbours including Alexander Pope, John Gay and Horace Walpole. The house is surrounded by an amazing green space. Visit to the house is free. There is an excellent team of volunteers around the house to tell you a lot of amazing stories.
