In my opinion, one of the most beautiful parks in the Dallas area. It's small, but the views of the creek and the walkways and bridges make up for what the park lacks in size. I love to take my dog for a walk here. It's great exercise, too, because of all the steps in the pathway.
Visited the area for the holiday lights and had a nice time in here.Once of the good location to spend time along with kids and family. Parking is available along with accessibility parking space
Gorgeous park. Super dog friendly. Gorgeous and lush foliage. Pool, tennis courts, all awesome!
Beautiful neighborhood park. Lush trees, beautiful stream running through, cute statues, and lots of access and room to play. Great picture opportunities. We did see dogs on leashes in the park but not running loose. Saw a community pool and tennis courts, as well as a nice playground area. Fun bridges to cross, too.
Our 1st choice for family photos fell through and Prather Park was our second choice so I went to view the area. I visited this place mid June 2023 and it was a day or two after a huge thunderstorm came through. This is a very beautiful place. It has a community pool, playground, tennis courts, walking trails/sidewalks, bridges, and benches throughout the park. There is a creek that runs through it and the sound of the running water was very peaceful. The landscaping is done beautifully and there is ample shade throughout the grounds. There is even a tunnel to walk through. I gave it 4 stars because there was a lingering stench of sewage. Considering its location to Highland Park and University Park it was a little disappointing. Our family ended up taking family photos here the following week. Attached are photos I took on my phone.
The kids loved finding all the amazing sculptures and bridges. Even in winter, it's a lovely walk. There's also a great playground for kids right next to the pool.
One of the hidden gem in Dallas. Small in size but beautiful place to visit. Nice sculptures & breath taking greenery. Loved this place.
Such a cute neighborhood park with a whimsical atmosphere and quiet walking trails. There are tennis courts and a pool available but it appears to be open to residents of Highland Park only. Street parking.
